My story
My name is Dalla Stella Federico, and I am the founder of Angolo Vetusto Earth Stones.
I’m a professional lapidary, specialized in working with Ethiopian and Australian opals, as well as carefully selected hard stones such as Agates, Quartz, and Jaspers.
My passion for minerals was born in a spontaneous and genuine way: I was about six or seven years old when, during a holiday in Trentino, I was captivated by their natural beauty. The brightness, the unique shapes, they seemed to cast an irresistible call on me.
Every walk turned into a treasure hunt. I collected my first pebbles and crystals without really knowing what they were, guided only by an instinctive passion.
A lifelong nature lover and outdoorsman, I carried this connection with me even after returning home to my beloved Veneto. I would organize hikes through hills and mountains, backpack on my shoulders, in search of new minerals and small fragments of nature to cherish. That childhood passion grew into a deep vocation.
I decided to study minerals seriously, learning to identify them through specific analyses and tests, refining a technical and professional background in the field of mineralogy.
After years of study and hands-on experience, I chose to pursue the path of a lapidary, specializing in cabochon cutting, one of the oldest and most noble forms of gem shaping.
Every stone that passes through my hands is crafted with care, dedication, and love. These are not mere objects: they are fragments of the Earth, shaped to reveal all their natural beauty.
