131g - Beautiful Natural Native Copper - Alluvial Specimen - Keweenaw County, Michigan, USA
Rare naturally polished specimen of Native Copper from the famous Keweenaw County (Michigan, USA), one of the most famous historical localities in the world for this mineralogical species.
The specimen has a rounded morphology and smooth, partially shiny surfaces, with green and bluish encrustations and oxidations due to the natural action of time and the environment. It is an alluvial piece , formed in secondary deposits by water or glaciers, which smoothed the metal mass until it gave it this compact, "modeled" shape.
It has not been artificially treated or polished: every detail is the result of natural processes. Excellent for collectors and lovers of authentic specimens.
