Natural, hand-polished fibrous white agate - Ex Mining District Serenissima - Vicenza
This extraordinary agate comes from the historic Ex Mining District of the Serenissima , an area in northern Vicenza (Italy) rich in geological history but today little known, active during the period of the Venetian Republic. The specimen was discovered, cut, and polished by hand , making it an authentic and unique piece, ideal for collectors, enthusiasts of Italian geology, or for themed exhibitions.
Agate has a unique structure with:
- Milky white core crossed by natural diagonal veins , similar to incisions, which give a surprising “graphic” appearance.
- Beige-yellowish outline , with crystallizations and partial cavities that add depth and interest.
- Secondary formation that may include quartz or calcite microcrystals in cavities.
