Luminosa associazione mineralogica composta da cristalli di ametista viola sui quali si sviluppano numerosi cristalli chiari di calcite caratterizzati da fluorescenza sotto luce UV.
 
L'ametista presenta cristalli ben sviluppati dalle tonalità viola, con superfici brillanti e differenti livelli di intensità cromatica. Sopra la drusa sono distribuiti piccoli cristalli di calcite biancastri e traslucidi, nettamente distinguibili dal quarzo sottostante e capaci di creare un interessante contrasto sia cromatico sia morfologico.
 
La presenza della calcite fluorescente aggiunge un'ulteriore caratteristica mineralogica al campione: osservato sotto illuminazione ultravioletta, l'esemplare mostra una risposta differente rispetto alla normale luce visibile.
 
Una bella associazione naturale tra Ametista e Calcite, interessante sia per collezionismo mineralogico sia per l'osservazione della fluorescenza.
