Extraordinary rough specimen of Ethiopian Fire Opal of 47.40 ct , coming from the Welo area, it is a Hydrophane Opal characterised by exceptional dimensions and a warm amber-orange body colour .
The gemstone features an intense play of color across much of its surface , with vivid green, yellow, orange, and red highlights visible from various angles. The vibrant hues clearly emerge from the translucent body and give the piece a particularly luminous and evocative appearance.

Depending on the piece's analysis and the cutting direction chosen, it could be used to create one large gemstone or several smaller cabochons. The final yield and stability of individual areas must be carefully evaluated during processing.
