Lot of raw and natural Ethiopian Noble Opals , hydrophane from the Welo area, ideal for lapidary use and collections.

The pieces are small to medium in size, weighing approximately 3 to 9 carats each. They have been partially cleaned of the more friable part of the sandy matrix, but may retain traces of sand, natural matrix, and inclusions.

The selection includes opals with very different characteristics: some have a cleaner and more transparent body, others retain a greater amount of matrix, but all show interesting potential to be discovered through cleaning, study and possible processing.

The play of colors varies from piece to piece and can include green, red, orange, yellow, and blue highlights. The overall quality is mixed, ranging from approximately A to AAA, with natural variations in brightness, color distribution, transparency, and cutting performance.

The minimum quantity that can be purchased is 5 grams , equivalent to approximately 25 carats . Subsequent quantities must be selected in increments of 5 grams: 5 g, 10 g, 15 g, 20 g, and so on.

Approximately 100 grams in total are available, equivalent to 500 carats.

Each order is prepared by randomly selecting pieces from the actual photographed lot. The number of opals received varies based on the weight of the individual pieces and the quantity purchased.
