Chalcedony
Chalcedony (SiO₂) is a cryptocrystalline variety of quartz characterized by a compact texture and delicate colors, generally shades of blue, gray, white, or pink. It forms in volcanic and sedimentary environments through the slow deposition of silica. Known for its calming energy, it is used in both crystal therapy and jewelry. Excellent sources include Brazil, Namibia, and Italy, particularly Sardinia and Veneto.
